The UCW Rear Wing is a high-performance upgrade for the Subaru WRX (VB), designed to significantly increase rear downforce, enhance driver confidence on the track, and reduce lap times. Engineered to work seamlessly with the factory trunk, the wing bolts on easily and is built to handle the increased downforce loads, delivering improved performance specifically for track use.

During development, Verus Engineering employed state-of-the-art analysis software to optimize the airfoil for maximum performance within the build volume derived from the V1X. Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) was used to ensure that the wing receives adequate airflow when installed on the car, providing reliable aerodynamic performance. In-house scan data allowed the team to achieve a near-OEM fit and finish, ensuring the wing complements the natural curves of the VB WRX while maintaining a refined, factory-quality aesthetic.

The UCW Rear Wing is specifically designed for Subaru VB WRX enthusiasts seeking enhanced rear-end downforce. It operates efficiently at angles of attack from 0 to 15 degrees, allowing it to balance the aerodynamic load from a variety of front-end kits, including the Verus Front Splitter Kit. When combined with the Ventus 3 aerodynamic kit, the rear wing contributes a substantial increase in downforce, helping to reduce lap times and improve cornering speeds.

Verus Engineering’s CFD simulations were validated through real-world testing, showing a strong correlation between predicted and actual performance.
