The Torque Solution TGV Shaft Seal Kit is a must-have upgrade for Subaru EJ engines using OEM TGV housings. Over time, OEM TGV shaft seals can fail, causing leaks on the opposite side of the TGV motors and resulting in unwanted vacuum or boost leaks. This simple bolt-on kit resolves existing leaks or prevents future ones, keeping your engine performing at its best. Installing the billet plug seal kit proactively provides peace of mind and ensures optimal EJ engine performance.

Includes:

• (2) Billet Aluminum TGV Shaft Plug Seals with O-Rings
• (4) M4-0.80 x 12 Stainless Socket Cap Bolts
• (1) PTFE Silicone Lubricating Grease
• (1) Blue Thread Locker

Install Steps:
1. This process will be the easiest with the TGV’s removed from the vehicle. Refer to tech manuals on how to remove the TGV housings or gain access to them.
2. Once you have access to the TGV housings simply remove the shaft plates on each TGV on the opposite side of the motors.
3. Make sure the shaft area that the plate was covering does not have any debris, as it may damage the o-ring seals on the plugs.
3. Use the supplied super lube grease and apply some onto the o-rings on each of the billet seal plugs.
4. Insert the billet seal plugs into the TGV’s where you removed the plates.
5. Use the supplied blue thread locker and apply a small amount on the threads of the supplied M4 bolts.
6. Install the M4 bolts securing the seal plugs using a m3 allen tool. Tighten till snug. Do not overtighten.
