Upgrade your Subaru Impreza WRX with this 1-piece 6061-T6 aluminum driveshaft, engineered to deliver sharper response and reduced drivetrain weight. At 3″ in diameter and roughly half the weight of the factory 2-piece shaft, it significantly cuts rotational mass for a more connected feel on acceleration. The shaft features larger, replaceable, and greaseable U-joints and is rated to handle up to 650WHP and 155 MPH. Note:Some driveshaft failures in 2003–2007 Subaru WRX and STI models have been traced to worn or failing subframe, differential, or transmission mounts/bushings. Excessive drivetrain movement caused by these components can result in the driveshaft striking the rear brace, typically 11–12 inches from the differential. This is a maintenance- and age-related issue, not a defect with the Driveshaft Shop product itself. Driveshafts installed on vehicles with compromised mounts may experience damage, and such damage is not covered under warranty.
